This neodymium magnet system with a 90 mm diameter suction cup has a threaded stud with M6 thread and can be screwed onto objects with a matching internal thread. You can also use this suction cup magnet for delicate surfaces, as the rubber coating prevents scratches and discolouration. In addition, the rubber coating on the magnet increases the load capacity in the shear direction.
The soft suction cup also creates a vacuum around the magnet, which provides an additional safeguard. Should the magnet system briefly lose contact with the ferromagnetic surface, e.g. due to sudden movements, the suction cup will hold the unit firmly in place. As such, the suction cup magnet has an adhesive force of approx. 29 kg.
Please note: To ensure a firm hold of the suction cup, please make sure that the surface is clean and smooth. If you want to reposition the magnet system, please do not attempt to remove it by dragging it along the mounting surface. This will damage the rubber coating. Instead, remove the magnet by tilting it with the help of a plastic handle. You can find a suitable handle for this magnet system linked below.
The full adhesive force is achieved when the ferromagnetic counterpart is smooth and of sufficient thickness and when the magnet system makes direct and complete flush contact. Magnet systems already start to lose part of their adhesive force at a small distance from the ferromagnetic surface. This characteristic is more pronounced in magnet systems than in other ferrite and neodymium magnets.
