Ferrite magnets

Ferrite or neodymium magnets?

Compared to neodymium magnets, the adhesive force of ferrite magnets is much weaker. On the other hand, they are cheaper, suitable for outside use (rust-resistant) and can take heat up to 250 °C. If size and volume are less important than price, ferrite magnets can be a good alternative to neodymium magnets.
An extensive comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of both magnet types can be found under FAQ.
